Today has been such a great day. I got my car back from the shop (it has been down for a month). Drove the kids to school, went grocery shopping, took my sewing machine to the shop (something always seems to need fixing around here). We had a huge 20″ monitor — big, clear screen, great for these tired old eyes. Upon returning from errands yesterday evening, my daughter headed straight for the computer. When she turned on the monitor, we heard a terrible sizzling and popping and the thing would not turn on.
