Long story short — I surrendered my first born for adoption (I was a teenager at the time and bought that bit of social engineering).
Fast forward 22 years later, I found him, we met, life was good for a few years. Then, for whatever reason, he backed away, and I was told by a third party he no longer wanted contact with me. I was sad. Ok, devastated. But I kept my distance at his request.
Fast forward 10 years later, and what should greet me on Facebook a couple of days ago, but a friend request from my firstborn. I stared at the email, and wept. For joy.
The pic above is my son, his wife and their 3 year old son.
I’m so thrilled I can’t even see straight!

AWESOME!! How wonderful is THAT?! He’s handsome, Vic, his wife is lovely and that little baby is LULL-LISH!!
Congrats on the long-overdue reunion
That’s so great Vicki! Having people to hug and hold is what it is all about! Take it from a lone piggy, I love hearing stories like this where we all live and let live. *social engineering..nyuk nyuk, I think the big candy cane in the background is the perfect setting for this happy family. :@D :@)
Oh Vicki, I couldn’t be more happy than I am for you right now..it was certainly worth the hours wait to load your page, nothing, considering you’ve been waiting all those years.
Big (((hugs)))xxx
Thanks
I’m still pretty well stunned (and grinning like an idiot!! lol)
After spending the extended weekend with the crazy side of my family, I had very little desire to hear about anyone else’s family… until this very moment.
Absolutely amazing!!!
